Job checklists, marked-up photos and the job sheet

What the customer approved becomes the crew's checklist. Draw on photos, share before and after shots, and print a job sheet.

The checklist

When a customer approves a quote, the option they chose becomes the job's Checklist: each line of What's included is a step, so what was sold is what gets done. Steps from your checklists for that job type are added too (see below). On a job, Build from quote & checklists adds anything new, and Add a step adds one by hand.

Technicians see the same checklist on My day when they open a job. They tick steps off as they go, and the camera button next to a step takes a photo for it (which ticks it too). The office sees who did what and when.

Checklists for each job type

Go to Settings › Checklists and click New checklist. Name it, choose the job type it's for (or Every job), and write the steps one per line, for example "Photo of the old unit" or "Test the drain line".

Marking up a photo

Under any photo, click Mark up. Draw an Arrow, a Circle, freehand with Draw, or add Text, in red, yellow, blue or white. Undo takes back the last mark. Save photo saves it as a new photo next to the original, which is kept. It works on a phone too.

Before and after photos for the customer

On the job page, the eye button under a photo shows it on the customer's own page, under that visit. Click it again to hide it. Photos aren't shown to customers unless you choose them.

The job sheet

On a job, click Job sheet for one page with the customer, address, time and crew, what's wrong, what was sold, the checklist with tick boxes, notes and photos, and lines for signatures. Click Print, or PDF to save or send it.
