Shifts: who works when

Plan each week's shifts for your crew and office, copy last week, and see who's on from the dispatch board.

Updated October 1, 2026

Jobs › Shifts shows the week with a row for each person on your team and their hours for the week.

Add a shift

Click + in a person's row on a day, set when it Starts and Ends, and add a note if you like ("On call", "Shop day"). Tick Same time every weekday for the rest of this week to fill the week in one go. Click a shift to change it or Remove it. A shift that ends before it starts runs overnight.

Next week

Go to the next week with the arrow and click Copy last week. Then change whatever is different.

On the dispatch board

Once a week has shifts, the Dispatch board shows each technician's shift next to their name ("on 8 AM–5 PM" or "off today") and shades their shift on the day view, so you can see at a glance who can take a job. Shifts are a plan for your team: the AI receptionist still offers times from your business hours and each technician's calendar.
